May Average Scrap Car Price €293
May saw prices increase by 1% compared to those in April. Although it's not a huge increase, it does put prices closer to the highest seen during February this year. Year on year, the average value is up considerably, an increase of 82% compared to May 2021, which equates to prices being €132 higher! With scrap car prices still higher than they were for much of 2021, it's a great time to cash in with your old car.
The average value of a scrap car is influenced by factors such as, the global demand for scrap metals, any reusable parts, plus the make, model, age, weight, condition, and even location of your car.
