Scrap Car Price Update February 2022

Posted on 4th Mar 2022 by Rebecca Currier Posted in: Latest News

The new year started with a slight drop to the record breaking prices seen at the end of last year, though there are signs of recovery in February as prices rise. Up just 1% on January, the average value of a scrap car in February is still considerably higher than the prices seen in early 2021.

February Average Scrap Car Price €293

February’s 1% month on month increase, takes prices closer to the levels seen at the peak in December 2021. Prices are up year on year too, by a whopping 94%, that’s €142! Definitely a great time to cash in on your scrap car.

The average value of a scrap car is influenced by factors such as, the global demand for scrap metals, any reusable parts, plus the make, model, age, weight, condition, and even location of your car.
