The Oscars is one of the most prestigious awards to receive in the film and TV industry. With our favourite heroes and heroines up for nominations, we decided to take a look at the most iconic vehicles to be used in movies and Television.

Bumblebee
Everyone's favourite transformer, the young autobot has secured its own movie and is one of the films that has long been waiting for!
Fast & Furious Cars
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time."
Car enthusiasts around the world wanted to join Dom (Vin Diesel) & Brian (the late Paul Walker) on their high-fuelled race in these action pact movies. With the iconic Toyota Supra, VW Jetta, Mazda RX-7 and Nissan GTR, this movie franchise is definitely geared up for petrol heads.
Disney Pixar's Cars, Cars 2 & 3
For the little motorists of our streets, Cars is a fantastic computer-animated action-adventure by Disney Pixar. Based on the new Corvette, Lightening McQueen and his gang have some incredible journeys to the Piston Cup and the World Grand Prix.

DeLorean
Great Scot! The most wanted car to travel back in time with has to go the DeLorean DMC-12. A scientific experiment doesn’t quite go to plan in the film Back To The Future, where with Doc and Marty travel through time to save their existence. This 80's film has been a long-time favourite.

Batman
From the classic DC Comics to the big time films, Batman's very own Batmobile has had its fair share of gadgets and weapons. From the 1955 Lincoln Futura, the 1989 & 1992 Chevrolet Impalas, to the latest design combining a Hummer and a Lamborghini. The Batmobile is definitely a top choice to keep in the Bat Cave.

KITT
I'm the voice of Knight Industry Two Thousand, KITT if you prefer….
KITT was created as the very first of the artificial intelligence to be used in a car, put in a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. The second KITT was a 2008/2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR.
Dukes of Hazzard
The General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger, driven in the tv show by the Duke cousins Bo and Luke. The General is famously known for its bright orange body, the Confederate flag on its roof, welded doors and the classic 'Dixie' horn, seen doing police chases, stunts, and long jumps.
Starsky and Hutch
Police detective David Starsky and his partner Kenneth 'Hutch' Hutchinson, patrol around 'The Bay' in the red-with-a-white stripe 1976 V8, 250hp Ford Gran Torino, which became one of the most recognised cars on TV around the world.
The Professionals
The Ford Capri 3.0 is the best known car to be used by the British CI5 in the 1977 tv show, The Professionals. Also used were car enthusiasts' old time favourites, Ford Granadas, and an Escort RS2000. The Capri is still a collectors' modern-classic, all-time favourite.
Bullitt
Bullitt is one of the late Steve McQueen's film, a 1968 American action thriller. Bullitt is the film's police officer, Frank Bullitt, who famously drove a 1968 Ford Mustang GT. In September 2018 Ford celebrated the 50 anniversary of Bullitt, where the legend was reborn with a 5 litre V8 engine and 475HP. The anniversary edition is for sale until June 2019.
